My name is Jessica Ream. I am a Mental Performance Consultant and Owner of Growing Resilience Consulting, LLC. I reside in Temple, Texas.
I was raised in Columbia Falls, Montana. Growing up I participated in several sports. I participated in competitive cheerleading and dance at a young age. In high school, I participated in cheerleading, tennis, 4-H, and O-Mok-See. I went on to participate in college cheerleading. I also coached dance. I graduated from the University of Great Falls (now known as: University of Providence) with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and went on to complete my Master of Arts in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Currently, I work as a Performance Expert/Master Resilience Trainer to teach Army soldiers mental skills training. I have worked with athletes and performers of all ages from different sports. I also have worked with injured athletes and performers. I am a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. For fun, I enjoy being outside, hiking, playing with my dog, and spending time with family.
I value the virtue of growth. I believe no matter how much an athlete/performer thrives during their performance, there is always room for growth. For an athlete/performer to grow at their performance, it starts mentally. I teach mental skills to help athletes/performers optimize performance and fill their mental toolbox to face adversity.
